One of the best parts about summer? All the super fresh finds from the local farmers markets! One of the best in the area is the NOVA Central Farm Market, which is open Sundays year-round at George C. Marshall High School on Leesburg Pike. Vendors come each week with everything from eggs and milk to bean-to-bar chocolate and artisan oil and vinegar.
Each week a couple days before the market, they’ll post a list of vendors coming over the weekend and will note who won’t be there that week so you aren’t surprised when one of your favorites is missing. Part of this list is also a great compilation of all the items vendors will bring that week so you can start to prepare your shopping list!
The NOVA Central Farm Market is open 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. April through December and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. from January through March.
