Virginia Farmer’s Markets You Need to Visit

Nothing says summer in Virginia like the local farmer’s market. Come out and meet fellow community members while shopping handmade goods and local produce at one of these farmer’s markets near Loren.

Falls Church Farmer’s Market

What’s special about the Falls Church Farmer’s Market is that it’s open all year round! So, you can rest assured that you have access to the freshest bushels of veggies 365 days a year while living at Loren. Recently, free fitness classes have been offered at the market each Saturday. Check the Falls Church website for details and times. The Falls Church Farmer’s Market is just over a mile away from Loren, located at City Hall and is open on Saturday mornings.

Mosaic Central Farmer’s Market

The Mosaic Central Farmer’s Market provides fun for the whole family on Sundays from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Adults can relish in the wine tastings which feature locally produced wines. Kids can take part in kids club activities and play in the fountain during the summertime as well. The Mosaic Central Farmer’s Market is an 11 minute drive from Loren, located on District Avenue in Fairfax.

Arlington Farmer’s Market 

The Arlington Farmer’s Market boasts a plethora of vendors with a wide range of food offerings. Try the freshly baked bread from Girardot’s Crumbs or sample mushrooms from Philips Mushroom Farm. The Arlington Farmer’s Market is an 11 minute drive from Loren, located at the intersection of N Courthouse Road and 14th Street in Arlington. This market runs on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
